Damages Cap Inapplicable to Uninsured Motorist Coverage

In State Farm Mutual Automobile Ins. Co. v. Hunt, 2013AP2518 (Oct. 2, 2014), the District IV Appeals Court of Wisconsin ruled that an insured who has UM coverage can recover from a UM carrier even if there is an otherwise applicable statutory damages caps. The case is discussed here.
